Guide Review - Book Review: The Year My Life Went Down the Loo

Reading this book, I found it hard to keep up with the language and to not skip pages. I'm told, by girls who are of the appropriate age, that this book is laugh-out-loud funny and that they enjoyed, for the most part, the main character of Emily. They commented that her emotions felt real and that she would be someone they'd choose as a friend. And they all agreed it portrayed a very realistic view of how someone might cope if forced to move to another country for a year.
