Twilight book cover

The Bottom Line

From the Publishers: "Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear."

Pros

  • Thrilling Read
  • Realistic
  • Engaging
  • Will be sure to delight all readers, even if they're not fans of vampire literature

Cons

  • From a 15-year old reader: it ends too soon!

Description

  • Author: Stephenie Meyer
  • Hardcover: 512 pages
  • Publisher: Megan Tingley (October 5, 2005)

Guide Review - Book Review: Twilight

Although this book's primary theme isn't really about Isabella's move, there is a theme of fitting in and some of the issues that arise when a teen moves to small town. Primarily, this is a teen romance that I've been told keeps readers up all night.

Highly recommended!
