Guide Review - Book Review: A Tiger Called Thomas
When shy Thomas and his family move into a new neighborhood, he thinks no one will like him. On Halloween, Thomas dresses up as a tiger, and feeling brave behind the mask, he sets out and realizes that his neighbors not only recognize him, they like him!
This is a great book for young readers, illustrating that people like you for who you are if you're just yourself. Children will like the graphic images and bold colors of Diana Cain Bluthenthal's pictures, and will appreciate the portrayal of a shy kid just looking for acceptance.
A great read, especially around Halloween!
