Guide Review - Ashleigh #9: Holiday Homecoming
Even though this book isn't necessarily for children who are moving, it is a great read for preteens who are losing a friend to a move. While Ashleigh feels like her whole life is slipping through her fingers, she's able to find solace in her family and those who remain around her, including her home.
I recommend this book for any preteen who feels left behind by a friend or is trying to adjust to major changes which leaves one feeling a little lost, disoriented, out of control, sad and lonely. Very emotional and at times, gripping.
