Does a Flight Charge Involve an Airline and Oversized Baggage?

AirplaneIn one simple word, no.

When you move you might notice that you've been charged a "flight charge" by your mover. It doesn't have anything to do with a plane, but it can add substantial dollars to your moving costs.

Find out what a flight charge is and why you might be responsible for paying it.

You should also know what other fees you might be charged and ways to avoid them. In other words, you should check out the articles below:

(1) Automobile Transport :

I have been working for an auto transport company for years. A large portion of the people that contact us are interested in having a car shipped because they have decided to move via airplane. That said, we have heard many stories about excessive moving fees on planes and also on relocation trucks.

The best way to avoid this issue is to speak with a person before signing up for any moving services. Find out what everything will cost, with all fees involved, so you can plan for it. If the extra chargers appear gratuitous, then go to another company, or play one off against the other to have a few fees dropped. It works more often than not. Plus, what do you have to lose?

Best,
Al
