Move a Piano, Injury-Free

Piano KeysI'll say this upfront: I don't recommend that you move a piano yourself, especially if you have to negotiate stairs or elevators or if you own a baby grand (or grand, for that matter!). Pianos, while extremely heavy and awkward, are very fragile on the inside. But if you're set on moving a piano yourself, and you have enough helping hands, then here are some tips to ensure that you and your piano arrive in your new home, injury-free.

While making the move for an valuable item like piano or grandfather’s clock make sure to do the packaging right way. It ensures damage free moving of the object.
