What to Do with Unwanted Stuff

Thursday November 6, 2008

Garden GnomeEach year around this time some of us engage in a ritual known as fall cleaning. It isn't as popular as spring cleaning, but it's a way of sorting through things to make way for the holiday season. If you're planning a winter or spring move, then now's the time to get organized, and a good thorough house cleaning is a great place to start, allowing you the chance to get rid of stuff you don't want to pack.

But after you've finished sorting and de-cluttering, what do you do with the extra shirts, bed linens and towels? Instead of heading for the landfill, find out how to make some extra money or where to donate your used goods so that you're not only helping members of your community, but also reducing your impact on the earth - a win-win for everyone.

(1) Bridget Reno says:

My name is Bridget Reno and I live in Orlando Florida. I recently had to pack up and move to another area. I searched for days struggling to find the best company to help my family and me with this move. In this case of moving to a new home, similar to packing up many of your belonging, a storage company may be the way to go. I talked to a bunch of moving companies in the area and most of them made me really nervous. The first one that even talked to me and was willing to patiently answer all the questions that I had was this place called JJ Metro.com . If you chose to use any kind of moving company, please take the time to research the company first before trusting them with all your personal belongings. Even If you are looking to clear out a bunch of your stuff to make room for holiday decorations or whatever it may be. It might be a good idea to find a good storage company to store your belongings in temporarily.
