How to Pack the Bedroom

Tuesday December 11, 2007

BedroomWhenever it's time to move, there are two rooms in the house that I really want to avoid moving; the kitchen and the bedroom. Now, the bedroom may not seem that bad, but I think it's the closets and drawers that make me cringe - all those hidden places where I've buried that black dress I can't fit into or have mislaid that horrible green sweater that I'm only keeping for when Aunt Gracie comes to town (she knit it with her own two hands, I'm constantly reminded...).

So, if you're like me, packing the bedroom one step at a time is the only way I can manage. Check out these tips for getting the job done. You'll feel better when it's organized and packed and you finally find a new home for that black dress and that horrible green sweater.

Before packing the bedroom, I think a great tip is to spend an afternoon first throwing out/donating clothes and other unused items.
