Home Inventory: Protect Your Belongings

Video CameraLosing stuff during a move is extremely frustrating. After all, you've paid the movers to get your things to your new home safely, and to discover a missing duvet or a set of kitchen bowls after the fact leaves you with little power to do anything.

While most moving companies are responsible, mistakes do happen. To protect your things from loss or to have the insurance company replace damaged items, it's a good idea to make a visual or written record of all you own. It's a little time consuming, but will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.
