Unpack the Closet

SweatersWhen you finally arrive in your new home, there's that initial excitement and relief that the hardest part of the move is over; however, such enthusiasm usually evaporates once you've had time to take in your new surroundings...new surroundings that are full of boxes - endless boxes!

To help you through the sometimes daunting chore of unpacking, I'm putting together a series of articles on "unpacking tips". It's not so much how-to's, since unpacking requires less careful thought than packing. It's to help you get organized to ensure your new home is just the way you want it to be.

And this week, we start with one of the hardest areas in the home to keep organized, the closet. Find out how to make these small spaces work for you and how to keep them from turning into just storage areas.
