Moving Company Blacklist

Wednesday May 3, 2006

You need to hire a moving company and you've taken all the steps to find out if they're reliable, but what happens if your research turns up empty? Or what if they seem okay, but you're still not sure?

Before you sign on the dotted line, check out this updated blacklist from movingscam.com. Companies are listed in alphabetical order, with a clickable link that takes the viewer to a more detailed page, listing former company names, addresses and telephone numbers, along with registration (DOT) numbers. And, for a place to chat and do more research, go to the Message Board, a place where readers share stories and companies respond.

And if you have a complaint against a company, make it known by lodging a complaint. Don't let someone else get caught in a moving scam.
