Moving Tips and Tricks: Getting Your Input

I've received a lot of email recently from individuals who are in the process of moving and are looking for answers to very specific questions. This is so welcomed! Nothing is more interesting and challenging than a unique situation where someone requires a unique, think-outside-the-box, answer.

For some of these answers, I had to consult friends, colleagues or family or do some in-depth research to find out how best to approach the situation. And in doing so, even after all the moves I've made, I realize there's still so much to learn.

So, we're going to start a "Moving Tips" area on the site that focuses on input from you, with tricks and advice you've either discovered or developed to help you move over the years. It could be anything from packing and storing advice, to loading your moving van or getting your pet safely to the new destination. All postings will require your permission to post and all postings will be acknowledged.

So if you have a tip you'd like to share, no matter how silly or strange, email me. And start looking for weekly tips on the front page, because you never know when that suggestion might just save you a little time, money or headache.
