Moving Pre-Teens: Give them Books

Moving is tough on pre-teens; their lives are no longer just about puberty, fitting in and how well they did on that math quiz. Now you've added a move on top of everything else just to complicate things.

If you're having a hard time getting your pre-teen to talk about the move, go to the bookstore or library and get some books. A book can help your child with the transition and is a great way to start a dialogue on exactly how they're dealing.
